Mom’s Garden in June

This beautiful spot by the Maas/Meuse feels like a living work of art.

Meet mom’s (and Mr. W’s!) garden:

Gardens are a curious thing.

They take work, and patience, plus good soil and seeds to start from.

But the real magic does not happen overnight. It takes time. You have to keep tending to it, regularly, day by day. Not too little, not too much.

Eventually, the things you give your attention to will start to grow.

Sometimes you’ll have to weed, to give other plants the room to flourish.

I don’t have a literal garden at home, but as I see it, the principles of life are just the same.

I’m inspired by the work.

You’ll walk in what you grow.
