Turnout Tutorial

When in doubt.. turn out!

Hip rotation is one of the things I have struggled with for the longest time, yet it is essential for so many movements, from dance to martial arts.

Thankfully, it can be dramatically improved and freed up using movement.

I’ve put together a little 9-minute home practice routine that you can easily do at home to improve your internal/external rotation

You can download/stream it here

It’s an excerpt from my ‘Balletic moves for Bellydance’ DVD

I found out that doing this routine regularly (as well as working on my flexibility in general, which I do with Stacey Nemour’s online courses!) has helped me so much for improving various movements in bellydance (travelling steps, shimmies, turns)

But also in practicing pain-free in ballet, contemporary, and even martial arts (sword art/haidong gumdo stances, transitions, taekwondo kicks)

So.. I want to make it available for free, and I would like to share it with as many fellow dancers, dance teachers and martial artists as possible.

So, here you go ?

Download/stream the full routine for FREE and get going right away.

Have fun with this, and let me know how this routine works for you!

Much love,
K.

PS: use my code ‘khalidadance’ at www.flexibilitymakeover.com for 10% off all Stacey’s online courses and posture/stretching straps!

Enjoy, and feel free to share!
